What is Collab365?

Collab365 is a brand developed by Collaboris to provide services to the community around the Office 365 family of products. To that end we’re well-known for the following:

  • Collab365 Community (formerly SharePoint-Community.net) – home to a community of 13,000+ people, 550 videos, 1000’s of blogs & discussions.
  • Collab365 Conferences – we’ve hosted 10 major events now (on our own bespoke conference platform) and are planning many more.
  • Collab365 Today – we aggregate 350 blogs and distribute on the web, social and via email to 1000’s of readers.
  • Collab365 Directory – we maintain the biggest directory for Office 365, Azure and SharePoint products.

What will you be helping us with?

We’re on the lookout for an Events Marketing Manager who can organise, manage and market our online Collab365 Conferences and Live Shows, specifically:

  • Create blog posts / press-releases relating to our events.
  • Produce and manage mailing campaigns to help inform attendees of event content.
  • Help manage our social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • On-board and manage the full life-cycle for Speakers, Hosts and Guests.
  • Manage the agenda for our conferences.
  • Manage the conference web site (using WordPress).
  • Provide specification to our Graphics team for new artwork.
  • Work with partners to co-host Webinars.

What skills are “must haves”?

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience (ideally 2-3 years of marketing and content creation)
  • Experience with organising and creating marketing campaigns around events and / or conferences.
  • Fantastic grasp of both written and spoken English.
  • Very well organised as we often have multiple events to manage.
  • Past experience producing content for the web, as well as channel-specific knowledge (e.g blogs, SlideShare, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
  • Be familiar with the content management process within Wordpress.
  • Be creative! To stand out from the crowd, a lot of what we write / say has to jump off the page and grab the reader. We need someone that is used to using the right side of their brain 
  • Knowledge of email marketing software (e.g ActiveCampaign).
  • Be comfortable presenting online or less frequently in-person.

What skills are “nice to haves”?

  • Good working knowledge of SEO
  • PPC (Facebook Ads, Google Adwords)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML / CSS to aid in the production of Emails and Web pages.
