As our company is taking off--in terms of revenue, products, content, and sales channels--we are seeking a Head of Content who will obsess over our content including strategy, content sourcing, audience development, and daily management. This role demands someone who connects with our mission, cares about women’s health, and is driven by a desire to do work with a purpose. You will be joining a rapidly expanding startup at the ground-level and working with a kickass team that has built multiple companies, while having a high degree of creative responsibility and autonomy. Core Functions Own the development and operations of Cora’s forthcoming content platform Direct the strategy of the content platform, while managing all execution and daily operations Responsibilities Serve as primary content and platform strategist Strategize and conduct audience and brand partnership development Manage freelance writers and external contributors Write and edit editorial copy Manage publishing of content to website and other relevant channels Work closely with senior team members to develop and execute aggressive growth strategy Requirements 3-5 years related professional experience Bachelor’s degree required (Journalism or English degree is a plus) Experience working at a modern media or lifestyle company where you’ve proven your ability to create and manage distinctive content Demonstrated ability working on project from start to finish while working with a team or independently Genuinely interested in, and passionate about, Cora’s mission and women’s health Obsessed with quality and detail Creative thinker who’s also extremely organized Being in the know about current trends, bloggers/vloggers, excites you Office-based; must be able to work in San Francisco office Terms and Benefits Full time in-house in our San Francisco headquarters Competitive Salary and Benefits To be considered for this opportunity you must be documented to work in the United States and reside in the Bay area.
