Relationship selling skills, with the ability to manage sales calls at varying levels of customer accounts, are essential. The Market Development Representative will be instrumental in identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling activities. The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks creatively, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater outreach tactics to each prospect specifically. For more insight into our company’s culture, be sure to check out our "We Believe" video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bvlf0Wg37N4 Experience REQUIREMENTS Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leaning of social and conversational selling techniques Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle (LinkedIn experience a plus) Set appointments for enterprise sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to have a sales conversation Drive attendance for webinars and in-person events, set meetings for conferences Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application (Salesforce, Hubspot, Infusionsoft, etc.) Personality REQUIREMENTS NO EXCUSES -you are someone who doesn't waste time giving excuses. You see the problems, and moves past complaining straight into finding a solution and supporting our customer. DAMN GOOD COMMUNICATOR - you understand how to speak with people in an empathetic and non-condescending way, but can still be a firm if and when the situation calls. SUPERB LISTENER - you can comprehend just as well as you speak AND believe that listening is just as important as speaking. PATIENCE - high level of patience, or the ability to control and keep your temper under wraps…whatever comes first. COMPASSIONATE - you are not a robot. You understand human emotions, feelings,thoughts, tendencies and know how to work it.
