Nisolo is seeking a General Manager for its primary supplier in Trujillo, Peru. The primary objectives for this position include each of the following: Plan the short term and long term growth of the company, develop strategy and lead the execution of organizational objectives, and present the Nisolo Executive Team with company financials, budget, work programs and results of other tasks required. Responsibilities Managerial: Plan the short term and long term general and specific objectives of the company, in coordination with Nisolo’s Executive Team, to generate quarterly and annual Strategic Plans. Lead an executive team consisting of a Finance Director, Supply Chain Director, Lead Production Engineer, and HR & Operations Director. Coordinate and control the execution and follow up to fulfill the Strategic Plan. Organize the current and future structure of the company; as well as its roles and positions. Contract, select, and train the appropriate personnel for each role. Exert the legal representation of the company. Carry out the global administration of the company’s activities, seeking organizational, technical, and financial optimization. Guarantee the fulfillment of norms, regulations, policies and internal and established instructives from regulatory Peruvian entities. Participate in meetings with Associations, Ministries, and other Public and Private Institutions. Financial and Administrative: Supervise financial reports, sharing actual results with what was budgeted. Supervise the administration of monetary resources and fulfill tax regulations, tariffs, and other legal obligations. Control the costs and profitability of the company. Administer the operational budgets and the investments of the company in accordance with the Strategic Plan. Supervise the management of Sourcing and Logistics. Supervise the management of the financial strategy. Production and Operations Control the fulfillment of orders, production planning, and programming. Assume full responsibility for the profitability, cost, and delivery of products. Guarantee the fulfillment of the client’s quality requirements. Manage investment projects. Manage the development of new products and service to the client. Competencies Strong leadership qualities and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requirements Work experience: minimum of 7 years in similar positions (leadership or management), in large or growing consumer goods manufacturing companies. Leather footwear or accessories preferred. Knowledge of financial management, production processes, engineering, and business administration. Bachelor or equivalent certification in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar careers. Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration strongly preferred. Familiarity with technology and IT: knowledge of Microsoft Office, accounting systems and SAP. Education or work experience in Latin America. Advanced Spanish language skills required; Native Spanish speaker preferred. Intermediate English or better preferred. Available to work in Peru.
